Table Fit to Page
Table Fit to Page
Check
The Check is ruleset independent, it is present by default under check-groups by ‘Table Fit to Page’.
The check verifies if the table property is fit to page. This check is ruleset specific. A table is fit to the page when at least one row begins at the left margin and at least one row ends at the right margin and the whole table is inside of the margins.
Manual Fix
You can manually set this table property in MS Word, by right clicking on the table and choosing table properties. On the first tab (Table) you can set the preferred width to 100%, which will follow any page or margin changes.
Auto Fix
If you right click the affected table in the Check Results pane, OnStyle helps you to adjust the width of the table columns to fit the page from the left margin to the right margin.
The Fix is working on multiple levels, you can fix individual tables or you can run the fix for all in one go.
