Check

OnStyle checks the number of tab stops and their position in the header area in each document section.

There should be two tab stops in each header, a center and a right tab. If the actual number is different OnStyle will list this as ‘Tab Count’ issue in the Check Result window.

If the number of tab stops is correct OnStyle will check their position and list the discrepancies as ‘Tab Position’ issues. The correct position of the center tab is 3.15″ for portrait pages and 4.49″ for landscape pages. The correct position of the right tab is 6.21″ for the portrait pages and 9.4″ for the landscape pages.

Fix

Clicking the result in the list to navigate to the section which has tab stop issues in its header. Double click the header to edit it and delete or add tab stops or move them to the correct position on the horizontal ruler. If you don’t see the ruler at the top of your document, click View > Ruler.

The check stops when the number of tab stops is incorrect, therefore the above two results are never listed together.
